KARACHI: Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Controller of Examinations Prof Agha Akber Mirza announced the results of Class XI Humanities Group (Regular) Annual Examinations 2009 on Monday.
As per details, 11,338 candidates were registered for the examinations and 10,822 appeared for it; 3,205 were declared pass in all six papers, 2,879 in five, 1,837 in four, 1,418 in three, 856 in two and 435 in one paper.
The pass percentage stood at 29.63. BIEK also announced the results of Class XI Humanities Group (Private) Annual Examinations 2009. As per details, 6,009 candidates were registered for the examinations and 5,533 appeared for it; 1,418 candidates were declared pass, bringing the pass percentage to 26.04.
BIEK further announced the results of Class XI Humanities (Special Candidates) Group Annual Examinations 2009. As per details, 95 appeared for the exams; 90 candidates were declared pass, bringing the pass percentage to 94.74.
