HYDERABAD: Students of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) University of Sindh introduced Sindhi version of Google on Tuesday.
The project, developed by the students under supervision of the director of the institute, Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili, was displayed in an exhibition of final year projects-2009 at the institute.
Briefing about Google’s Sindhi version, Mr Ismaili said that it would be helpful in seeking material in Sindhi language by searching websites.
He said that the version would be made available at the IICT’s website: iict. usindh.edu.pk, and added that the institute had approached the management of Google to make the Sindhi version available on its website.
