Recipes For The Iftar (Opening Day)

Aalo Baday recipe

Aalo Baday is the very light and delicious dish it’s very tasty to eat So many people want make it in the Fasting Opening day. Its very easy to make So read very care Fully below Its Ingredients and Preparation.

Recipes Ingredients

Balls:Aalo Baday
500 g potatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds(optional)
1 tsp cumin seeds cumin seeds
2 green chillies,finely chopped salt to taste
1/4 cup fresh coriander,chopped
Batter:
1/2 cup gramflour
salt to taste
pinch of baking soda
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp oil
water

Recipes preparation

For the batter,mix batter ingredients and enough water for a thin consistency batter.
Boil and skin potatoes. Mash well.
Mix balls ingredients in a bowl.
Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Dip in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve immediately with ketchup/tamarind chutney.

Cold Coffee recipe

Cold Coffee is the best best drink which makes us comfortable After a hard day’s thirst. So many peoples like to drink cold things in the Fasting opening day. Here Below It’s recipe is mentioned as well.

Recipes Ingredients

2 cups milkCold Coffee
1 tsp honey
3 tsp sugar
2 tbsp cream
2 tsp instant coffee powder
1 cup vanilla/chocolate ice-cream

 

 

Recipes preparation

Blend milk, honey, sugar, cream, coffee and icecream together with ice cubes untill well blended.
Pour in tall cocktail glasses.
Finish with a scoop of exta icecream and a dusting of cocoa.

Fresh Dahi Baray recipe

Dahi Baray is the full of curdĀ and sprinkled with spices like chilli pwd, cumin pwd, chaat masala or black salt and serve with a tangy-sweet tamarind chut dish it’s make our Fasting opening very good because it would remove our hunger is chosen. And gives us Energy at spot.

Recipes Ingredients

2 cups dal maash dhuli (urad dal)dahi baray
Presoaked for 4-5 hours
Pinch of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch of heeng

 

 

 

Recipes preparation

Grind the presoaked dal into a paste and add rest of the spices.
Mix well and leave for 30 minutes.
Then in a frying pan add 1 tbs. of oil and with the help of a spoon drop into the pan flat rounded patties and shallow fry till light brown.
DO NOT TURN OVER TO FRY OTHER SIDE.
Meanwhile heat oil for deep frying and then deep fry.
When golden brown remove and cool.
When serving, soak in a bowl of water and when a little soft squeeze out the water between palms and add to prepared yogurt.
YOGURT: Beat the yogurt adding a little water to a paste.
Add salt, red chili powder and 1/2 tsp. zeera powder.
Garnish with sweet Imli Chutney and Chat Masala.

Recipes For The Sehri (Closing Day)

Shami Kabab recipe

Shami Kabab is the best dish for the Sehri (Closing Day) It’s easy to make and very tasty for eating and Shami Kabab has Full energy which is must for us because we spend whole day without any thing eating.

Recipes Ingredients

Boneless beef 1 kg,Shami Kabab
Channa daal 1/2 cup,
Cinnamon stick 1,
Large black cardamon 1,
Whole black peppers 8,
Dried red chillies whole 10,
Medium onion 1,gingerClick to find more about ginger 1” piece ,
Garlic 6 cloves.
Garnish:
Onions 2 small cubes/chopped, corriander leaves, geen chillies, mint leaves.
egg 1 or 2(optional)

Recipes preparation

Boil beef cubes with all the ingredients except the garnish ingredients.
When the meat is very tender and the water dries up grind it finely.
Add the garnishing ingredients and make flat round patties.
Shallow fry it.
Serve hot with your choice of chutney or sauce.

Sooji Ka Halwa recipe

Suji Ka Halwa is one of the very famous deserts serve with poori and chanay. And it famous specially for the Breakfast SO we take this dish in the Fasting closing day because then breakfast time.

Recipes Ingredients

1 cup SujiHalwa Puri
1 cup Ghee
2 cups Sugar
4 cups Water
2 Cardamoms, crushed
1/4 cup Raisins
1/4 cup Almonds, chopped

 

Recipes preparation

In a pan, mix water and sugar and put them to boil.
In another pan, heat ghee. Once heated, add suji and fry until it turns golden brown.
Add cardamom, raisins and almonds to the fried suji. Mix it well.
Now, add the sugar syrup to the mixture. Keep stirring while adding the syrup to avoid the formation of lumps.
As the mixture starts to froth, remove it from the flame. The sumptuous suji ka halwa is ready to be savored!!

Kashmiri Chai recipe

This beautiful rose colored tea is best consumed steaming hot with a dash of salt or sugar. In the Kashmiri Chai Pink color, Pistachio, Almonds and Milk make it very tasty and they gives us energy whole day.

Recipes Ingredients

4 Cups of WaterKashmiri Chai
3 tsp of Green Tea
1 tsp Cloves
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
7 tsp Cardamom
15 ml Ground Almonds

 

Recipes preparation

In 4 cups of cold water boil three teaspoons green tea.
When the liquid turns green (5-10 minutes), add 1 tsp ground cloves, 2 tsp ground cinnamon, 7 tsp ground cardamom and 15ml ground almond and simmer for 5 minutes.
(Optional: if you have good quality GENUINE saffron, you may add a pinch with the rest of the spices.)
Strain, add sugar to taste (no milk) and serve with almond flakes.
