Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam Admission 2011-2012 open and Sindh Agricultural University Invited Application for the admission of Bacholar Degree Program for the session of 2011-2012.Program which admission available as on (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine,B.Sc Agriculture,B.Sc (Hons)Agriculture,B.Sc food Sciences & Technology,B.E Agriculture Engineering,BS (Hons) Information Technology)(1) DVM Intermediate (Pre-Medical) at Least ‘C’ Grade.(2)BE Agriculture and Engineering Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) at Least ‘C’ Grade.

Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam Admission 2011-2012

Admission to the First Year of all undergraduate degree programs is made according to the policy and the rules framed by the University. The admission rules described below are subject to modification by statutory bodies of the University as and when considered necessary. The University reserves the right to make any change with regard to admission policy after the printing/publication of this material.
The candidate providing incorrect information and/or false certificate / documents (detected before or at any stage after admission) shall be liable to cancellation of admission.

The candidate suffering from any life threatening contagious disease is not eligible for admission. If detected at any stage, his / her admission shall be cancelled.
The applicants registered with any other University / Institution / College, if selected at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam shall be admitted only after their cancellation of registration/admission in other academic institution. Any proof of dual admission shall result into the cancellation of admission at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.
The applicants who were previously admitted at any other University / Institution but were rusticated/debarred before applying for admission at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam shall not be considered for admission at this University.

Candidates convicted of moral turpitude shall not be considered for admission.

The hostel accommodation is not the liability of the University and shall only be provided subject to the availability of space.

Eligibility Criteria

For Admission to Graduate Program

For admission to various Graduate Degree programs, candidates with a minimum qualification of Intermediate Science (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Computer) or equivalent examination with grade “C” or above (at least 50% marks) are eligible in different faculties depending upon the requirement of each faculty as specified in each faculty profile.

For Admission to Postgraduate Degree Programs

Candidates possessing Bachelors Degree in specific disciplines / areas are eligible for getting admission in Masters degree programs. Like wise, admissions to M.Phil and PhD Degree programs require a Masters Degree in relevant discipline / area. However, each faculty / department has specific eligibility criteria. The details are provided in the postgraduate prospectus

PRE-ADMISSION ENTRY TEST

  All applicants including those applying for admission on Open Merit, Reserved Seats (on merit basis) for various categories, Nominees of Provincial/Federal Government (except students from overseas) and Self-Finance seats shall compulsorily appear in the pre-admission entry test.

The Test shall be conducted in four subjects, with subject-wise weightage, number of questions, marks and time as described below:

Each correct answer shall carry one mark. For each wrong answer, there shall be a deduction of 0.25 mark.

Final merit list of the candidates shall be prepared according to the marks adjusted by the following formula:

The marks for Intermediate Science shall be determined by adding the marks for Items 1 to 4 and subtracting the marks for Item 5 below:

1. Marks secured in Intermediate Science.
2. 20 marks for having a certificate of National Cadet Corps/Women Guard Training.
3. 20 marks for being Hafiz-e-Qura’an.
4. 20 marks for Agriculture as third component in Matriculation examination.

1% of the aggregate marks will be deducted from the total marks of Intermediate Science if the examination was passed in the year previous to the year in which admission is sought.

 Any candidate securing less than 25% marks in the Pre-admission Test and/or less than 45 adjusted marks shall not be included in the Merit list and thus shall not be considered for admission.

rest 50% will be admitted in Z.A. Bhutto Agriculture College Dokri.
